Typical Day on New Haven's Audubon Street in the Spring
THE AUDUBON STREET WALKING TOUR
Welcome to Audubon Street - the Arts District of New Haven.Although not very big as city neighborhoods go, it is home to some of the city's most important cultural organizations, and in many ways this block is its own work of art.
It has a rich history and offers lots of fascinating things to learn about.
I'm Jim Wright.I'm a transplanted mid-westerner via Hell's Kitchen in New York City. I've been working on Audubon Street for a few years and I'll be leading this segment.
Join me as we recount the dramatic story of how the Arts District came to be.We'll explore some of the legends, tell some tall tales and learn about the hero's and heroines who have made this street such a fascinating place to be.
